FinancialLease.nl is the Netherlands' leading independent specialist in commercial vehicle leasing. Their ambition was bold: full Straight Through Processing — a customer should be able to find a vehicle, get a quote, and sign a contract entirely online, without human intervention at any step.
The challenge
The existing platform couldn't keep pace. They managed a catalogue of 70,000 vehicles with 20,000 product updates every day. Search was slow. The application process required manual steps. The infrastructure wasn't built for this kind of scale.
What we built
We migrated the platform to a modern composable e-commerce architecture, with search as the centrepiece. Advanced filtering, a lease calculator with transparent pricing, and a streamlined quote request flow. For affiliated dealers, we built catalogue embedding so the inventory could surface on partner websites too.
The underlying architecture was optimised for performance — search results delivered in under 100 milliseconds despite the size of the catalogue.
Result
100ms search across 70,000 products with 20,000 daily mutations. The first steps of Straight Through Processing in place, with the quote request process automated as the foundation for full STP rollout.
